Yummy Tokyo Is The Yummiest Ramen Under 200!

by - August 17, 2019

Maginhawa Street in Quezon City is home to a lot of hole in the walls eatery that has made their names in the food industry. Maginhawa is the go-to-place of food lovers who are in search for new dishes. And now, Maginhawa is giving us another reason to frequent the famous street.
It’s no denying that the rainy season is here. And what’s the best way to brave the cold weather other than having a delicious bowl of ramen? Yummy Tokyo opened its door to the public on February 20. In a short time, they have already made a name as the yummiest ramen under 200 pesos. The goal of Yummy Tokyo is to provide authentic Japanese foods with a local twist that is also affordable.

Here are some of the must-try ramen flavors:

Miso-PHP149
One of the best sellers and it’s easy to understand why. Its base is made from creamy and nutty miso with medium thickness. Topped with perfectly boiled tamago and melts and in your mouth torched chashu.

Shoyu
Soy sauce-based ramen in tangy, salty and savory flavor. Topped with perfectly boiled tamago, natutomaki and melts in your mouth torched chashu.

Curry-PHP189
This is my personal favorite made with curry and has a thick broth. The curry is not overpowering and blends perfectly with the tamago and torch chashu. It also has butter which makes it creamier.

Cold-PHP149
If you are looking for ramen with a twist, then cold ramen is a must-try. It includes corn, cucumber, chicken and sesame seeds. It tastes like a salad with salty and sour sauce.

Tonkatsu
This is also one of the best sellers and is made with pork broth. The level of saltiness is just perfect for my liking and I liked how perfect the tamago and the torch chashu on top!
