Feast Of The Black Nazarene 2018 Photo Contest

The Feast Of The Black Nazarene is one of the most celebrated religious events here in the Philippines. Every year, people from different provinces would try their lack to go as near as possible to the said to be miraculous Black Nazarene.
In preparation for the Feast Of The Black Nazarene on January 9, a joint project of SM City Manila and Canon Photographers Philippines (CPP) opened to the public an exhibit to showcase twenty of the best Black Nazarene photos. The event was held at SM Manila on January 7.
The program started with a prayer that was lead by Mr. Rey Duron.
It was followed by the opening remarks from Ms. Sybil Gualberto (AMM SM Manila)
Mr. Benny Yu from Canon PH also shared a short but inspiring message.
Faith, Heritage, and History is the highlight of this year’s exhibit. Certificates and other prizes were also awarded to these talented photographers. 
Right after the ribbon cutting, the public gain access to the top twenty photos.
The exhibit will run from January 7-19 and will showcase twenty of the best photos from 2018 Black Nazarene Photo Contest. 
     
The winning photos were taken by Aram Ferdinand Orense, Bernard Recirdo, Dennis Jerome Acosta, Diego Mariano, Edvard Galima, J Gerard Seguia, Jerome Ascano, Karlo Lomadilla, Mark Tolentino, Marlon Malabuyoc, Michael Loyola, Raniel Jose Castaneda, Niceron Rofiles, Jhun Dantes, Albert Zapanta, Derek Ferran, JM Abcede, Kiev Iz Kresta, Pet Salvador & Ritchel Tecuico.
 Adam Ferdinand Orense won the grand prize whose photo perfectly captured the Black Nazarene surrounded by thousands of devotees.
