Mober: Making Life Easier With Innovation

by - November 21, 2017

Did you ever experience buying an appliance and have to wait for days before the item is finally delivered to your homes? The waiting game can be exhausting at times especially if you badly needed the furniture you just purchased. Good thing that a mobile delivery app has been created to make life more convenient. Mober is an on-demand delivery services app that was officially launched on November 20 at the Metropolitan Club In Rockwell. It provides same-day delivery that is useful for business owners like those in catering services, those who are moving houses, or even as per transport service.
Gracing the event is multi-industry icon, Piolo Pascual. As one of the most successful actors of his generation, Piolo has a lot of things to do on a day to day basis. “I’ve been very busy lately with my professional and personal life,” says Piolo, whose career spans across multiple media platforms. “I’m working on a new soap and, as a producer, I have 2 movies in the pipeline,” he adds.

Outside showbiz commitments, Piolo is a sports enthusiast. “I love sports,” he says. “I got a bike race coming and I still do triathlons.” To meet the demands of his career and his active lifestyle, Piolo relies on technology to make things easier to organize. “Anything I need is on my phone, from ordering food, doing work, and keeping videos. I live off of my phone,” he explains.

When asked what’s the latest app he added on his mobile, the actor was quick to share that a delivery app, Mober, has made it on his list. “Mober offers instant booking for deliveries and within the same day,” he says. “No need to wait for days. Even in simple ways like that, I am able to show respect for other people’s time.”
Moving to a new place is time-consuming and tiring at the same time. The actor shared that he had to moved places 6 times in the last 2 years. “It's just really hard to move things around because of the hassle of traffic,” Piolo recounts. He added that using an on-demand delivery app is a proof of how technology can make life easier for consumers. The task is less stressful while also saving time.
During the press launch, CEO of Mober, Eric Ortiz shared how the app can be beneficial to businesses of any nature. “Our services can help them cut expenses on manpower and trucking,” he says.

He also emphasized that Mober provides not just convenience but better services as well. Mober is currently servicing clients across Metro Manila including big brands like SM Appliances and Adidas. Through the app, the company offered out-of-line or colorum drivers a legal and more stable source of income. Two hundred previously underutilized vans are now used to deliver in the Metro, Bulacan, and Laguna area.
Delivery fees are reasonable and would depend on the distance and time the items are to be delivered. Aside from downloading Mober using IOS or Android devices, booking can also be done using their website or through their hotline number. Tracking via GPS makes it possible for users to check the driver’s current location and they can even send an SMS or call the driver for better coordination. Customer service is available 24/7 to address concerns.
