My 1st Ever Blogapalooza Experience

by - October 22, 2014

I have been blogging for more than 7 years now but attending blog events is new to me. I started attending blog events early this year and I've been enjoying every events because I get to talk to people who are passionate in writing.

When I got the chance to register for the biggest blogging event of 2014, I knew that I can't afford to miss it. It's my chance to meet more bloggers and also get the chance to talk to business owners and introduce or advertise their products and services by writing honest reviews for them.

The list of sponsors as my back draft

There were a lot of sponsors and business owners who participated in blogapalooza 2014 including Sky Cable, Crocs, Sample Room, Dr. Kong, Acer, Canon, Ace Water Spa, Zomato, Jergens, Caronia, Krispy Kreme, Crab A Taxi, Flawless, Maxicare, Vikings, Chips Ahoy and a lot more.

Most  of the booths have simple games like posting a picture with there products and posting it in Twitter and Instagram and from these games you will get either promotional items or gift certificates. I'm a bit shy to play games in front of a huge crowd but being a self-confessed picture addict, posting images in my Twitter and IG account is as easy as ABC.

Aside from mini games, there were also a lot of raffle draws where they gave gadgets like smartphones and tablets. Too bad, I was not able to stay until the winner was announced. There were also small talks where business owners introduced their company and what they offer to the public. From the event, you will learn how social media marketing affects most of the businesses today. A single post in the internet, good or bad, can affect one's business instantly.

As an ice breaker and in between talks, local bands also showcased their talents by performing at the most anticipated blog event of the year.

The event was really successful and I hope that more business owners will benefit from bloggers like me. This is by far the most exciting blog event that I've attended this year. And I hope that next year's blogapalooza will be more fun and successful.

Thank you to all the sponsors for these cute and useful freebies!
